Places: Research/City

City

My aim is to take a trip to the city of Manchester. Some shots I would like to take whilst I'm there are:

• Starbucks (there is a Starbucks in every City)
• The City at night time (when its lite up with lights from clubs etc)
• View from "The Hilton" so I can see the full view of the City
• Reflections from other buildings (for example the Manchester wheel reflecting off the Urbis building)
• The Granada Sign
• Looking up at buildings making the building look tall implying how small people are in the City.

Below are three images I've edited slightly. I've chosen these three images because of how they have a similar composition.

I edited this image to have a high black and white contrast. I feel it works with this image because of the different tone and makes it look effect.

I like image for some reason, I think its the way the side of the building comes towards the camera. I don' like how the lights from the city are being reflected on the Urbis building when editing the image I couldn't take out the lights without making the image look correct.

The lights lighting the Manchester Wheel compares well with the dark sky. Its highlights the structure of the wheel.
